Job Description

Description:
This position is for a Lab Operations Coordinator within the Engineering Operations (EO) Organization. The EO Lab Ops Coordinator assists the Lab Manager(s) by performing day-to-day monitoring, control, and support functions within an assigned lab or across multiple labs. What You Will Be Doing The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the lab's day-to-day compliance to the company's policies and procedures; compliance with Environmental Safety and Health standards; performance of lab self-assessments; support of lab compliance audits; facility and equipment maintenance to include services; managing assigned property; controlling lab access to include monitoring lab user compliance training; and assigning workspace allocations to lab users. The position may also be required to manage schedules and deadlines, coordinating work efforts with other departments or disciplines, and tracking/reporting lab performance metrics. Basic Qualifications:
1. Active Secret clearance and Special Access Program requirements 2. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and/or experience/combined education or equivalent professional experience 3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory, sustainment, or manufacturing environment 4. Minimum of 3 experience in coordinating operational tasks and developing solutions with minimal supervision 5. Proven experience in supporting and resolving government audits, including Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits, as well as internal company compliance audits, with a focus on ensuring regulatory adherence and mitigating audit findings 6. Proven experience in applying and enforcing work location policies, procedures, and compliance requirements with a strong focus on identifying and implementing corrective actions 7. Experience with lab documentation, record- keeping, and operational protocols 8. Experience with calibrated equipment and property management 9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 10. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs
Desired Skills:
1. Experience in electronic fabrication including cable and harness, production hardware, or maintenance of military design products 2. Solder certification to
J-STD-001, IPC-7711/IPC-7721 3.
Experience with database tracking systems including the service request system 4. Experience interfacing with engineers to ensure work area and products meet requirements 5. Experience in performing lean six-sigma practices or certification

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
