Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Director of Safety & Compliance to lead enterprise-wide safety, compliance, corporate security, and risk management programs across our growing 3PL organization. This leader will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance across warehouse and transportation operations, and reduce overall risk exposure. This role reports to the Chief HR & Compliance Officer and partners closely with Operations leadership to balance safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Lead Safety & OSHA Compliance Own all OSHA compliance across warehouse operations Drive injury prevention programs, incident investigations, and safety training Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance across multiple facilities Oversee Transportation Compliance Provide oversight of
DOT/FMCSA
compliance programs Ensure adherence to driver qualification, hours of service, drug & alcohol, and fleet safety requirements Monitor regulatory changes and maintain audit readiness Direct Corporate Security Lead physical security, access control, and loss prevention initiatives Oversee incident investigations and facility risk assessments Manage Claims & Risk Oversee general liability, property damage, and bodily injury claims Partner with insurance carriers and brokers to mitigate loss exposure Analyze trends and implement preventative strategies Build & Lead a High-Performing Team Lead a team of functional leaders across
EHS, DOT
compliance, security, and compliance Establish accountability, performance standards, and scalable processes across multiple sites Requirements 7+ years of leadership experience in safety, compliance, or risk management Strong expertise in OSHA and warehouse safety environments Experience leading teams in multi-site or operational settings Proven ability to build and implement safety and compliance programs Ability and willingness to respond to safety, security, or operational incidents outside of standard business hours Availability for emergency calls and incident response as needed to support a 24/7 operation Preferred Experience with
FMCSA/DOT
