Teradyne has an immediate need for a Lead Product Safety and Compliance Engineer at our office located in Deer Park, IL. This role will lead the day-to-day safety and EMC compliance activities for the Power Test Division. Lead and manage product safety and EMC compliance activities across all Power Test Division projects. Integrate with design teams to drive early risk assessment and pre-compliance work. Coordinate internal and external testing events, including interfacing with certification suppliers, competent bodies, and test labs. Ensure compliance with all appropriate safety and EMC-related regulations and standards, including CE, NRTL, SEMI, and others. Conduct product safety analysis from circuit-level schematics/wiring diagrams to system-level designs. Provide formal safety recommendations to engineering teams based on analysis. Ensure continuing compliance by maintaining Test Reports, Constructional Data Forms (CDF), and Technical Construction Files (TCF). Coordinate EMC pre-compliance and validation activities. Benchmark and implement best practices for safety and EMC compliance. Domestic and international travel may be required, up to 10%. standards Familiarity with SEMI S2/S8 and

standards (nice-to-have) Basic understanding of EMC principles to communicate best practices and interface with test labs Hands-on ability to perform product safety testing Ability to troubleshoot EMC test failures and recommend design improvements, preferred Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and drive compliance initiatives to closure.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $141,400-$226,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan:

 This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
