Teradyne has an immediate need for a Lead Product Safety and Compliance Engineer at our office located in Deer Park, IL. This role will lead the day-to-day safety and EMC compliance activities for the Power Test Division. Lead and manage product safety and EMC compliance activities across all Power Test Division projects. Integrate with design teams to drive early risk assessment and pre-compliance work. Coordinate internal and external testing events, including interfacing with certification suppliers, competent bodies, and test labs. Ensure compliance with all appropriate safety and EMC-related regulations and standards, including CE, NRTL, SEMI, and others. Conduct product safety analysis from circuit-level schematics/wiring diagrams to system-level designs. Provide formal safety recommendations to engineering teams based on analysis. Ensure continuing compliance by maintaining Test Reports, Constructional Data Forms (CDF), and Technical Construction Files (TCF). Coordinate EMC pre-compliance and validation activities. Benchmark and implement best practices for safety and EMC compliance. Domestic and international travel may be required, up to 10%.
