Job Description

Southern Illinois Dermatology is a busy dermatology clinic with offices located throughout southern Illinois. We are locally owned and operated by board certified dermatologist, Dr. Ted Van Acker, since 1996. We have proudly served the southern Illinois region for 30 years! Come be part of our team! We are seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Operations & Compliance to provide leadership for our large dermatology clinic. This position is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and promoting an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and support clinical staff and daily operations. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements. Oversee quality improvement, risk management, and staff education. Manage the practice's MIPS and other quality reporting programs to optimize performance and compliance. Collaborate with physicians and management team to improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and patient care.
Qualifications:
LPN, RN or other healthcare-related degree required. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with electronic health records Leadership experience in a physician practice or outpatient healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of healthcare compliance, quality programs, and MIPS preferred.
