We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join the Kaiser Aluminum Warrick team in Newburgh, Indiana. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, the Environmental Compliance Manager will lead environmental professionals responsible for compliance across the Warrick facility. This role manages programs covering air, water, waste, soil, and groundwater and ensures compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership, technical expertise, sound judgment, and a commitment to operational excellence and sustainability. Expect:

Working in this position you will maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation problems ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes. What you'll do: Lead the compliance aspects of the Warrick site environmental program. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Provide regulatory guidance and environmental support to plant operations. Manage environmental requirements for capital projects and operational changes. Work with regulatory agencies to secure permits and approvals and resolve compliance matters. Maintain environmental records and prepare required agency reports. Set performance standards and metrics for direct reports. Maintain required training and certifications, including Method 9, HAZWOPER, stormwater pollution prevention, and related programs.

About you:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or natural sciences (chemistry, biology, etc.). 10+ years of relevant environmental experience. Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions. Ability to lead change and deliver results in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Preferred qualifications:

Industrial environmental program experience. 3+ years of supervisory or people leadership experience. Strong knowledge of air regulations and compliance. Experience dealing with regulatory agencies.
