Job Description

New Challenges, Inc. provides support for individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health diagnosis & brain injuries in the south and east metro area. We are seeking an experienced Area Director to oversee our 245D HCBS programs throughout the metro area. This role ensures high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining full compliance with
MN DHS 245D
regulations. This position is in person, not remote. Responsibilities Lead and support Program Directors/Designated Managers and staff teams Ensure compliance with 245D licensing standards and DHS requirements Ongoing maintain a caseload/supervision of 3 locations, additional locations as needed Monitor service quality, documentation, and outcomes for persons served Manage budgets, staffing, and program performance Support/lead audits, licensing reviews, and quality improvement efforts Monitor compliance with 245D licensing requirements and internal policy and procedures Provide ongoing and emergency service oversight/compliance of licensed locations & services (may include evening and weekend support as emergency incidents occur) Implement quality operational reviews Provide Administrator results from internal reviews, including recommended improvements Participate/lead state licensing reviews and audits of services provided Conduct and/or review internal investigations involving alleged abuse and/or neglect Complete Program Director/Designated Manager and direct care responsibilities as needed Qualifications 8+ years of leadership experience in 245D or HCBS programs as a Designated Manager Extensive knowledge of MN 245D rules and regulations Experience managing multiple sites Valid driver's license Join our organization as an Area Director to lead impactful programs that transform lives through compassionate care, spiritual support, and dedicated leadership!

From $80,000.00 per year
