The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Manager, Global Trade Compliance - Special Programs, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Manage Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) globally, including monitoring regulatory developments, assessing qualification, ensuring supporting documentation, and driving compliance with applicable requirements Represent the team as a subject matter expert (SME) in cross-functional meetings and projects to support sourcing strategies, minimize trade restrictions, and optimize landed costs Identify and coordinate opportunities for import duty refunds, including preparation and submission of applications to relevant authorities Prepare and submit responses to government inquiries related to FTA and special program compliance (e.g., CF28 or similar requests) Support the assessment, design, implementation, and execution of special customs programs (e.g., duty drawback, FTZs, bonded warehousing, inward processing, returned goods relief) Support U.S. and other government sales by qualifying products under TAA, BAA, and similar regulatory programs, including supplier engagement Analyze import/export data and support IT/ERP initiatives to identify compliance risks, trends, and duty optimisation opportunities Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, including policies, procedures, training, KPIs, and performance reporting in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND seven (7) years of experience in international trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain OR High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of experience in international trade compliance, logistics, or supply chain Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Master's degree in International Business, Trade, Supply Chain, or a related discipline from an accredited institution Seven (7) years of experience with Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and duty savings programs in a multinational or consulting environment Seven (7) years of experience with special customs programs such as duty drawback, bonded warehousing, FTZs, or inward processing Experience with U.S. and international trade regulations, including TAA (Trade Agreements Act), BAA (Buy American Act), and related compliance requirements Experience leading projects and managing cross-functional or global teams Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, GTS) and use of data analysis to support compliance and cost optimization Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience developing policies, procedures, or training related to trade compliance Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations Five (5) years of experience supporting global trade compliance programs in a private, public, government, or military environment Skills include project management, problem-solving, and effective communication across global teams Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to one of these locations: Eagan, Minnesota or San Antonio, Texas, at least 2-days per week)

The expected compensation range for this position is $143,200 - $196,900, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
