Job Description
Join our Compliance team as the Manager of Privacy! Drive and strengthen our organization's privacy and compliance efforts by leading investigations, monitoring regulatory compliance, and identifying opportunities to enhance privacy practices. In this role, you will manage and mentor Privacy Analysts, partner with cross-functional teams, and help shape privacy strategies that protect our patients, employees, and organization. You will play a key role in risk assessment, auditing, monitoring, issue resolution, and regulatory compliance while collaborating closely with Human Resources and Information Security to foster a culture of privacy and accountability. This is a remote position in which we are able to employ in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, or Wisconsin
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent experience required. Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CPHC), Certified Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS), or Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) required within three (3) years of hire. Three (3) years experience in healthcare audit, compliance and/or operations required. Two (2) years leadership experience in a healthcare setting required. Experience in health information management preferred. Experience and/or training in the following preferred: Data warehouse technology. MS Office, SharePoint and active directory. Hospital compliance and privacy programs, systems and processes. Data analysis and/or auditing tools and techniques.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

- Current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws and accreditation standards.
- Knowledge of State and Federal (HIPAA) laws pertaining to confidentiality of protected health information. Ability to comply with laws and maintain confidentiality of patient and member information. Ability to maintain confidentiality of investigatory work limiting to need to know basis only. - Working knowledge and skill of computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and hospital information systems. Ability to efficiently collect, analyze and display statistical reports by technology. Project management
