Senior Buyer & Compliance Manager Conax Technologies - 2.9 Buffalo, NY Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $120,000 a year 15 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Full Job Description Conax Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer and Compliance Manager to support supplier strategy while serving as the company's designated Export Compliance Officer. This hybrid role plays a key part in supply chain performance, regulatory compliance, and cross functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment.

In this role you will:

Lead strategic sourcing efforts to procure high quality components at competitive cost. Build and manage strong supplier relationships; review performance metrics and forecasts. Improve purchasing processes supporting new suppliers, engineering changes, and product launches. Serve as Export Compliance Officer with full authority over export classifications, licensing, and restricted party screening. Maintain and enforce export/import compliance policies, procedures, and training. Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations (EAR, ITAR, ACE) and oversee import compliance activities. Establish and monitor PO compliance controls, terms, and audit readiness. Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, and external regulators as needed. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing. Hands on EAR and/or ITAR compliance experience. Experience supporting imports and international suppliers. Strong judgment, organizational skills, and ability to work independently. Proven ability to apply regulations in a practical, risk based manner. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
