In this critical, onsite position, you will be instrumental in managing the compliance lifecycle of our products, focusing particularly on regulatory requirements in the polymer industry. Your strong chemistry background will drive our regulatory adherence and support product safety initiatives across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Navigate regulatory landscapes by interpreting and enforcing food contact regulations, collaborating with FDA officials, and drafting Food Contact Notifications.
• Craft and update precise and comprehensive GHS Safety Data Sheets for all product lines.
• Oversee the development of GHS labels, prepare shipping documentation, and define packaging solutions for hazardous materials, while providing DOT compliance training and support.
• Conduct thorough investigations of TSCA statuses, submit Pre-Manufacture Notices, and manage annual Polymer Exemption reporting.
• Classify products according to HTS standards, ensure NAFTA compliance, and streamline import/export operations.
• Maintain international compliance by filing documentation under NSF, Canadian NSN, EU Plastic Directive, and other international chemical regulations.
• Serve as a regulatory advisor, offering strategic guidance to both external clients and internal teams, while evaluating risks associated with mergers and acquisitions.

Travel Requirements:

Expect occasional travel, up to 10% domestically and internationally, to successfully perform your duties.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a relevant discipline.
• 7-10 years of experience in product compliance or stewardship roles within the chemical, polymer-focused sectors.
• Competence in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
