This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead compliance initiatives, manage risk, and streamline logistics processes across supply chain networks. You will be at the forefront of maintaining safety, regulatory adherence, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs related to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations, and other relevant industry standards. Monitor freight operations, transportation management, and fleet activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits of logistics processes, including risk management assessments and regulatory reporting, to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain activities meet all legal and safety standards while optimizing efficiency. Prepare detailed reports on compliance status, incident investigations, and audit findings; write clear documentation for internal use and regulatory agencies. Manage regulatory documentation, certifications, and licensing requirements pertinent to freight handling, transportation, and fleet management. Lead training sessions for staff on OSHA standards, safety procedures, and compliance best practices to foster a culture of safety awareness. Requirements Proven experience in logistics management with a strong understanding of supply chain operations and transportation systems. Demonstrated ability in risk management, compliance management, and regulatory reporting within a logistics or freight environment. Company Safety & Compliance Management to set up carriers to ensure adherence to company and federal safety regulations. Maintain and monitor Carrier Qualification Files, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date documentation. Assist in post-accident management, reporting, documentation, and follow-up as required. Assist in the development and execution of Accident Prevention Programs and safety training initiatives. Maintain organized records to support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies. Excellent report writing skills with the ability to communicate complex compliance issues clearly. Familiarity with fleet management systems, transportation management software, and freight tracking tools. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in audit processes and documentation practices.
