Best Promotions, an HPG Brands company, is a leading decorator and supplier of beverage insulators, beverage ware and similar advertising specialties to the promotional products industry.Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Associate to support our compliance operations related to promotional products. This role will focus on new product compliance reviews, coordinating product retesting, collaborating closely with supply chain partners, and supporting product safety and compliance inquiries. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience working in regulated industries or consumer goods is a plus.Key Responsibilities:
New Product Compliance:
Support product compliance activities for new product development by providing guidance on testing and labeling requirements, ensuring alignment with product category test protocols and relevant safety and regulatory standards (e.g., CPSIA, Prop 65, FDA, ASTM, and applicable state regulations as required). Verify that all required compliance documentation is complete and approved prior to product commercialization.Retesting Coordination:
Coordinate the product retesting process to ensure continued compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards (e.g., CPSIA, Prop 65, FDA, ASTM, etc.). Maintain an up‑to‑date retesting calendar and coordinate proactively with supply chain partners to ensure compliance reports remain current and on schedule. Ensure testing results and compliance records are accurately tracked, documented, and maintained to support ongoing product compliance.Supply Chain & Third-Party Collaboration:
Communicate and coordinate testing and compliance requirements with suppliers and third‑party laboratories. Monitor and verify receipt, accuracy, and completeness of compliance test reports and certifications. Maintain compliance records and documentation within designated databases and record‑management systems.Customer Inquiry Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for Product Safety and Compliance related inquiries, ensuring prompt, accurate, and professional responses. Support customers and internal stakeholders by providing requested compliance documentation, including testing reports, certifications, labeling, and related product safety or regulatory information.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance, preferably within consumer goods, promotional products, retail, or manufacturing industries. Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated attention to detail, effective project coordination, and solid problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with experience managing databases and documentation systems.Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position.
