Month Contract Job Description:
This person will be responsible for planning and executing the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliance project, coordinating suppliers and internal teams to ensure all in-scope products meet regulatory requirements and are fully documented. The role will also carry out additional regulatory compliance/QMS related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Own the RoHS project plan, milestones, and risk management. Collect, review, and track RoHS declarations and material data from suppliers. Map and maintain RoHS status at part/BOM/product level in PLM/ERP or tracking tools. Identify non-compliant or unknown parts and drive actions (resourcing, redesign, testing). Maintain a controlled repository of RoHS evidence (declarations, test reports, exemptions). Prepare status reports and KPIs; communicate progress and risks to leadership. Support responses to customer, audit, and regulatory inquiries on RoHS. Carry out additional regulatory or
ISO 9001
2015 QMS related activities as assigned by the manager
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in STEM field. 3 years' experience in regulatory compliance, quality, or supplier management in manufacturing. Working knowledge of RoHS and material declarations; familiarity with
REACH/WEEE
is a plus. Strong project management, data analysis, and documentation skills. On hand experience in managing
ISO 9001
2015 QMS and carrying out 8-D Root Cause Analysis related activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work cross-functionally and with suppliers. Highly organized, detail oriented, and self driven. Collaborative with strong ownership and follow through on commitments.
