Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Property Administrator to support a short-term affordable housing compliance project in Downtown LA California. This Contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in resident recertifications, file auditing, and income documentation within regulated housing programs. The role will play an important part in keeping compliance records current, accurate, and aligned with required program standards while partnering closely with on-site property management teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage annual and interim resident recertification activities from intake through completion within established timelines.
  • Examine resident and tenant files to confirm documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with affordable housing compliance standards.
  • Gather, validate, and organize income, asset, and household information needed to support certification decisions.
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance records and enter required data into tracking tools and property management systems.
  • Communicate with residents to request missing paperwork, clarify documentation needs, and provide timely follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Coordinate with property management staff to prioritize workloads, resolve file issues, and meet project deadlines.
  • Identify discrepancies in resident documentation and take appropriate action to correct files before submission or review.
  • Provide general administrative support related to compliance operations and other project-based property administration needs.
