Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the supervision of a Deputy Labor Commissioner Supervisor (Senior Deputy), assists Hearing Officers in performing the less complex assignments related to the Wage Claim Adjudication process. Interprets and applies the rules and regulations of the Industrial Welfare Commission Orders and the California Labor Code to assess violations on liable employers in wage claim processing. In addition, performs a wide variety of duties in the enforcement of wage and hour laws in the Wage Claim Adjudication (WCA) program in accordance with the mission of the Labor Commissioner's Office (LCO).
