Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the direct supervision of a Supervisor I and supporting the regions Contract Managers, the Analyst II is journey-level analyst who works independently in the administration of maintenance service contracts and the enforcement of Labor Compliance provisions. The Analyst II is responsible for administering the Department's Labor Compliance Program (LCP) by enforcing Federal and State Labor laws and regulations pertaining to prevailing wages on public work contracts. Working Conditions Position located at 1808 N Batavia St, Orange, Orange County. Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment. While at their base of operation, employees will work in a climate-controlled field office under artificial lighting. However, due to periodic problems with the heating and air condition, the building temperature may fluctuate. May travel by State Car to other Caltrans field offices and the district office. This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans's evolving telework policy. Caltrans supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises.
