The ideal candidate will have strong experience in either Certificates of Insurance (COI) administration or Lien Releases and Preliminary Notices , with the ability to ensure compliance requirements are met across multiple projects and stakeholders. This role plays a key part in reducing company risk, maintaining contractual compliance, and supporting timely project execution. Key Responsibilities Compliance Administration Monitor, collect, review, and maintain compliance documentation for subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and current before work begins and throughout project lifecycles. Track compliance requirements and proactively follow up on expiring or missing documentation. Maintain organized electronic and physical records in company systems. Certificates of Insurance (COI) Management (For candidates with insurance compliance experience) Review Certificates of Insurance for compliance with contract requirements. Verify coverage limits, endorsements, additional insured requirements, waiver of subrogation provisions, and policy effective dates. Communicate deficiencies to subcontractors, vendors, brokers, and project teams. Monitor policy expirations and ensure timely renewals. Assist with audits and insurance-related reporting. Lien Release & Preliminary Notice Administration (For candidates with construction compliance experience) Manage the collection, review, and tracking of preliminary notices, conditional and unconditional lien releases, and waiver documentation. Ensure lien documentation complies with state-specific regulations and company requirements. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, accounting, and project management teams to obtain required documents prior to payment processing. Maintain accurate records of lien-related compliance activities. Assist with resolving lien-related discrepancies and payment issues. Cross-Functional Support Collaborate with Project Managers, Accounting, Contracts, and Operations teams to ensure compliance requirements are met. Support subcontractor onboarding processes. Generate compliance reports and status updates for management. Assist with process improvements and compliance initiatives. Stay current on industry regulations and best practices related to construction compliance. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction administration, compliance, risk management, subcontractor management, or a related field. Strong experience in one or more of the following areas: Certificate of Insurance review and compliance management, or Lien Releases, Waivers, and Preliminary Notice administration. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
