Overview:
The Delinquency & Escrow Coordinator plays a critical role in managing documentation and communication between attorneys, property managers, and homeowners. This role will also help oversee delinquent accounts.
Duties:
Monitor delinquent accounts and aging reports on a daily and monthly basis Communicate effectively with the attorney regarding delinquent accounts, legal actions, and required documentation Communicate with property managers regarding work being processed for delinquency Send delinquency letters in a timely and accurate manner Send outstanding and aging reports in accordance with established deadlines Process late fees and interest accurately per governing documents and company policy Process ACH payments by adding them to the system and communicating clearly with homeowners Negotiate and coordinate payment plans when applicable Maintain accurate and detailed account notes for all delinquency activity Ensure accuracy of homeowner names and property addresses within the system Demonstrate willingness to ask questions and seek clarification regarding assigned work Investigate and resolve account discrepancies efficiently Organize monthly delinquency processes and maintain an uptodate calendar to ensure deadlines are met Coordinate with internal departments to resolve complex or escalated delinquency issues Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies Process ownership transfers and update homeowner records in the management system. Review Grant Deeds and escrow closing documents to verify ownership changes. Calculate and provide outstanding assessment balances, special assessments, collection balances, and other escrowrelated information. Coordinate with escrow officers, title companies, real estate agents, and homeowners regarding account status and ownership transfers. Maintain accurate homeowner account information, including mailing addresses and contact details Monitor escrow requests and ensure timely completion on Homewisedocs. Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation on Homewisedocs.
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred 13 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, property management, or a related field Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously Professional, firm, and customerfocused approach to delinquency management Proficient in
Microsoft Office Preferred Skills:
