Account Service Associate

We are looking for a dedicated Account Service Associate to join our team in Sunnyvale, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and delivering excellent service to members and staff. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for supporting operational efficiency within the accounting domain.

Responsibilities:

Conduct daily operational and account audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Respond to member inquiries regarding account eligibility, documentation, and general information. File Adult Protective Services reports in adherence to regulatory requirements. Support the escheatment process by updating property records and utilizing escheatment software. Assist with decedent case management, including account ownership updates and closures. Process contributions, withdrawals, and withholding election changes accurately. Prepare weekly rate and fee schedules for review and distribution. Collaborate on special projects to enhance processes and workflows. Update and maintain job aids and procedural documents in collaboration with management and staff. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent education and experience. Prior experience in financial services is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct audits accurately. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service to members and staff. Familiarity with transaction processing and account maintenance. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
