Job Description
We have partnering with multiple hedge funds that are expanding their Compliance team across all levels in Hong Kong/ Tokyo. Key responsibilities include maintaining a strong regional presence with a focus on Japan market, enforcing compliance policies, monitoring regulatory changes to update procedures, and conducting staff training. The role also requires executing surveillance and forensic testing, managing timely regulatory filings, and implementing industry-leading best practices to enhance the firm's compliance framework. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of compliance experience at investment banks/ asset managers, solid experience in regulatory compliance/ investment compliance. It is crucial to have a strong familiarity with cash equities or prime brokerage related rules and regulation for the APAC region. Japanese language proficiency is essential.
