Development & Compliance Coordinator (Part-Time → with Full-Time Growth Opportunity)

Overview The Housing Authority is seeking a motivated and highly organized Development & Compliance Coordinator to support affordable housing development activities. This role will assist in moving multifamily housing deals forward from early planning through pre-construction and closing. Current projects include multiple developments ranging from 80 to 300 units , involving affordable housing programs such as Project-Based Vouchers (PBV), LIHTC, and related HUD programs. This is a growth-focused role with direct exposure to development, finance, and public-sector housing operations. Key Responsibilities Development Coordination Support pre-development activities including feasibility tracking and site coordination Schedule and manage pre-development and pipeline meetings Maintain deal trackers, timelines, and milestone updates Coordinate with internal staff, consultants, and development partners RFPs & Procurement Assist with drafting and issuing RFPs/RFQs Track proposals, deadlines, and evaluation processes Ensure procurement compliance and documentation HUD & Compliance Support Assist with tracking HUD-related processes , including

PBV, RAD

(if applicable), and environmental reviews Support preparation of documentation for audits, inspections, and reporting Monitor deadlines and ensure required items are completed on time City & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with City, County, and external partners Prepare meeting materials for City Commission and stakeholder meetings Track zoning, approvals, and entitlement progress Pre-Construction & Development Support Assist with coordination of: Market studies Environmental reports Surveys and third-party reports Support development budgets and basic financial tracking Assist with lender and funding coordination as needed Project Support Track design progress and key development milestones Support documentation for project approvals and closing preparation Maintain organized project files and reports Growth Opportunity This position is designed to grow into a full-time Development role , with increased responsibilities in: Deal management HUD coordination Development financing support Why Join Us Direct exposure to real estate development and affordable housing deals Opportunity to grow into a leadership role Work closely with executive leadership on active housing developments Make a direct impact in delivering housing to the community
