Day Shift Description:
Providing support to ensure compliance with the pharmacy 340B program. Works closely with pharmacy staff, software companies, wholesalers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Participates in the ongoing maintenance of program policies and procedures. Maintains required 340B program records. Performs audits to ensure compliance with policy and/or regulatory requirements. This position will specialize in the following areas: finance, audit, maintenance/IT, and/or contracts/compliance. Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions. Demonstrates leadership, collaboration, critical thinking, and teamwork when facilitating clinical standards and operational decisions and resolving issues. Utilizes data to identify opportunities for improvement and applies 340B program expertise in identifying, leading, and implementing data plans. Demonstrates data-driven approaches for project prioritization and strategies. Identifies business opportunities that address program needs, policy changes, and education to align with the organizational strategy and national priorities. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health's Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior. Processes invoices and requisitions and serves as a liaison to wholesalers, third party administrators, and other internal and external customers. Assists with quality control and third-party administrator maintenance. Serves as a liaison to pharmacy staff. Conducts monthly internal audits of the 340B program to ensure compliance with its policies and procedures. Immediately report any discrepancies/deviations to the Regional Director Business Operations/340B. Performs other responsibilities as requested by the Regional Director business Operations/340B.
General Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a focus on accounting, finance, information technology, business, or related field. Bachelor's degree must be completed within one year of starting in the position. At least two (2) years of work experience consisting of accounting, finance, information technology, business management, or related roles. 340B University Certification required within three months of starting in position. Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, be well organized and maintain a highly professional manner and appearance. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health. Must be team-oriented, able to work independently, and willing to complete assigned tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
