Job Description

Regulatory & Product Testing Specialist Location:
Onsite, Northwest Indiana Department:
Product Development / Operations Role Summary We are looking for an organized person to manage product testing, compliance, and related paperwork. This person will work with testing labs, review results, maintain records, and help make sure products meet U.S., international, and retailer requirements before launch. Main Responsibilities Product Testing Manage product testing from start to finish Work with outside labs to schedule testing and send samples Track testing and review reports Make sure testing is completed on time Compliance Make sure products meet required U.S., international, and retailer requirements Keep up with changes that may affect our products Help teams understand testing and compliance requirements Documentation Keep test reports, certificates, safety documents, and material information organized Make sure records are easy to find when needed Maintain simple, clear testing and compliance procedures Team Support Work with Product Development on product and material compliance Work with Marketing to review product claims and packaging wording Work with Operations and Supply Chain to keep testing on schedule Help complete retailer compliance forms and submissions Claims Review Review product claims for accuracy Make sure claims are supported Identify questionable claims and suggest safer wording Qualifications Experience in product testing, compliance, or regulatory work for consumer products Experience working with outside testing labs Good organizational skills and attention to detail Able to manage several projects and deadlines Bachelor's degree preferred Preferred Experience with major retailer compliance requirements Experience reviewing product and marketing claims Key Skills Organized and detail-oriented Good communicator Able to manage deadlines Able to work quickly and accurately Success in This Role Testing is completed on time Records are organized and easy to find Fewer testing delays Products launch smoothly and meet requirements
