Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations across multiple campuses, including both physical and virtual locations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the compliance and operational success of an educational institution.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with state and federal regulations to maintain licensure and exemption statuses.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies to handle filings and address compliance-related inquiries.
  • Gather and organize necessary information from internal teams to support regulatory processes.
  • Utilize tools like Salesforce, Google Workspace, and other software to manage compliance documentation and reporting.
  • Edit and maintain important records, including PDFs, spreadsheets, and other files, to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct due diligence to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports to support organizational decision-making.
  • Maintain and update compliance files to ensure all documentation is current and accessible.
  • Provide guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders, ensuring awareness and adherence.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to support compliance initiatives and continuous improvement.
