Job Description

Family Health Care is seeking to fill the position of Credentialing and Compliance Coordinator in our Baldwin, MI location. This position leads, coordinates, monitors, and maintains Family Health Care's corporate and internal credentialing and re-credentialing process. The Coordinator facilitates all aspects of provider credentialing — including initial appointment, reappointment, expiration/renewal, and clinical privileging for all departments — while supporting compliance with HRSA, AAAHC, and other required agencies. This role also provides broader administrative support to organizational leadership and plays a key part in incident reporting, training compliance, and student program coordination. Primary Responsibilities Coordinates provider credentialing and re-credentialing, including licensure/DEA renewals and credentialing file maintenance. Provides administrative support to the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Dental Officer or their designees. Coordinates incident reporting and prepares related committee summaries. Manages HealthStream training assignments for staff. Coordinates TB testing and immunizations for all staff members. Supports Administration on compliance, risk management, and operational projects as assigned. Coordinates student program placements and onboarding. Understands and demonstrates the ability to protect patient privacy according to HIPAA laws. Requirements Formal training, or the equivalent experience, in some aspect of a profession or para-profession (approximately one or two "semester-length" post-high school classes, including certificate or technical programs up to one year). This is typically considered an associate's degree level or equivalent experience. Two to three (2-3) years' working experience as an Administrative Assistant. Typing ability of 55 words per minute. Strong background in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) preferred. Credentialing experience or certification in credentialing preferred. Alternative to
