Position Classification PT Casual Position Summary This position provides direction, monitorization, and oversight of initiatives related to clinical compliance requirements for faculty, staff, and students. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Communicate with current and incoming faculty, staff, and students about what the clinical compliance requirements for their assignment are. Provide information regarding account set-up and documentation of the compliance tracking system that the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry is using (currently CastleBranch Compliance Tracker through Disa Healthcare Solutions). Continuously monitor the compliance tracking system on a regular basis to: o Assure that all immunization records, titers, and medically related tests are current and up to date. o Assure that CPR/BLS training is current and up to date. o Assure that required professional licenses for resident faculty and staff appointments are current and up to date. o Assure that annual HIPAA, OSHA, Medical Emergency Preparedness, and other training have been completed with documentation. o Assure that students report current health insurance coverage annually. Effectively communicate with individuals when compliance requirements with renewal dates are coming due and/or when compliance requirements expire to support faculty, staff, and students in avoiding a lapse in compliance. o Provide recommendations as requested by faculty, staff, and students where to obtain training/testing/immunizations needed to fulfill compliance requirements. Report noncompliant individuals to Clinic Administration for disciplinary action as noted in the Clinic Policy and Procedures Manual. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Education -A college degree or four to eight years of work experience in a related field. Employment -Two years to five years (Equivalent combination of education and employment). Preferred Qualifications Experience with axiUm, PeopleAdmin, Paylocity, and Microsoft Office Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proactive approach to problem solving. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively and productively with faculty, students, staff and patients. Prior supervisory experience Physical Requirements Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds). Work Environment Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office.
