  • Labor Compliance Specialist We are looking for a talented Labor Compliance Specialist that has a passion for quality construction.
This position assists with administering the company's compliance with the labor standards and reporting requirements established under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Davis-Bason Act. This role focuses on the day-to-day administrative tasks associated with prevailing wage and apprenticeship (PWA) compliance, including certified payroll processing, document collection, recordkeeping, and subcontractor coordination across all applicable IRA-qualifying projects. What You'll Do
  • Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports (WH-347 or equivalent) for in-house labor on all IRA-qualifying projects
  • Enter and reconcile payroll data in certified payroll software (e.g., LCPtracker, Elation, or similar platforms)
  • Track subcontractor certified payroll and apprenticeship submission status; send reminders and follow-ups to ensure timely receipt of required documentation
  • Track and log apprentice hours, ratios, and trade classifications across all applicable projects and subcontractors
  • Prepare apprenticeship ratio summary reports, flag potential deficiencies as they arise, and coordinate corrective actions with project teams
  • Assist in onboarding new subcontractors to IRA compliance procedures, including distribution of compliance guides and reporting templates
  • Assist in assembling documentation packages for DOL audits, agency inquiries, and compliance investigations
  • Perform general administrative tasks in support of the compliance team, including filing, correspondence, and meeting coordination What You'll Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry, records management, or administrative support, preferably in construction, payroll, or compliance environment
  • General awareness of prevailing wage concepts and willingness to learn the Davis-Bacon Act, IRA provisions, and DOL certified payroll reporting requirements through on-the-job training
  • General awareness of union contracts and fringe benefits
  • Experience with database or records-management software; familiarity with certified payroll platforms (e.g., LCPtracker or similar platform) is a plus but not required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track deadlines and manage documentation across multiple concurrent projects
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with subcontractors, project teams, and internal stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in recordkeeping and reporting
  • Preferred experience with electronic document management systems or compliance tracking databases in a construction or regulated-industry setting
  • Preferred familiarity with federal or prevailing wage projects (public works, federal construction, or tax credit projects) What You'll Get
