We're looking for a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support our team in maintaining tenant compliance with HUD, Tax Credit, and Rural Development programs. Full-time with medical, dental and vision benefits! We offer benefits, 401k, paid time off, and paid holidays!
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process tenant applications and certifications Calculate income and determine eligibility under program rules Maintain accurate tenant account ledgers and billing Ensure timely and accurate filing of HUD vouchers and USDA project worksheets Monitor and report compliance issues to supervisors Collaborate with property managers and area directors regarding tenant approvals and move-ins Prepare files for audits and agency reviews
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience Strong understanding of HUD, Tax Credit, and Rural Development compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills Prior experience with tenant certifications and compliance processes preferred
