Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Document Specialist I for a Contract with a client in Minnetonka, MN. The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining customs and trade documentation, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, and supporting compliance with import/export regulations.

Rate Range:
$25/hour to $28/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Document Specialist I Job Responsibilities include: Perform audits, reviews, and verification of import/export documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Maintain and organize customs, trade, and compliance records using numerical, alphabetical, chronological, and subject-based filing systems. Process, assemble, and manage reports, technical documents, correspondence, and trade compliance documentation. Support import and export recordkeeping activities in accordance withCFR 15, CFR
19, and company compliance requirements. Track, update, and maintain customs trade files while ensuring document retention and accessibility for audits and reviews. Collaborate with Trade Compliance Supervisors and internal teams to support daily administrative and compliance-related activities.Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, associate's degree, or equivalent education; coursework in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field is preferred. Entry-level position; 0-2 years of experience in administrative support, records management, trade compliance, customs documentation, or a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail with experience in document auditing, filing, record maintenance, and managing large volumes of compliance-related documentation. Knowledge of import/export documentation, customs trade records, and regulatory compliance requirements (CFR 15 and CFR 19) with strong organizational and data management skills.
