Federal Aid Administrator II:
$23.367 - $34.446 per hour. The pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved. If unable to fill at the Federal Aid Administrator II level, we will consider applicants at the Federal Aid Administrator I level. Pay range for
Federal Aid Administrator I:
$20.224 - $29.813 per hour. The pay rate may be commensurate with education and/or experience within fiscal constraints if approved.
Job Duties:
Use excellent communication skills to establish and maintain effective, professional working relationships with team members, subgrantees, and other customers. Work with a dedicated team to administer subgrants. Work with subgrantees to ensure compliance with federal and state rules and regulations. Monitor performance and financial status of grant-funded projects. Provide technical assistance to subgrantees related to administrative, programmatic, and fiscal compliance with regulations, policies and procedures, and agency standards. Create and submit reports to federal partners. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems in a timely manner. Apply effective time management skills. Apply critical and creative thinking to help determine solutions to challenges and issues. Perform other duties as required. Requirements /
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Federal Aid Administrator I :
High school education plus four years of work experience significantly related to the position's function; or Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or other appropriate curriculum; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements.
Federal Aid Administrator II:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or other appropriate curriculum, plus two years of significantly related work experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above requirements. Experience can be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience delivering excellent customer service. Experience and appreciation of collaborative, team-based work. Interest in continuous learning and growth.
Other:
Valid driver's license or ability to provide authorized independent transportation is required. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong computer acumen including Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to manage time and competing priorities. Ability to learn and apply the principles and concepts of specific agency programs, policies, and operating details of an accounting system. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively with staff in other divisions and agencies. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, utilizing input from others, as appropriate.
