Job Description

Frontgrade is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support the coordination and execution of international shipments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and company policy. The specialist is responsible for preparing documentation, tracking shipments, and ensuring adherence to import/export requirements under the supervision of senior team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure company-wide awareness of internal and external laws and/or regulations Assist with company-wide compliance training, as needed Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to inform decision-makers Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications Provide administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completing projects in support of compliance auditors Enhance the compliance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum two (2) years of experience in import/export, logistics, or supply chain (internships acceptable) Bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Exposure to trade compliance concepts (HTS classification, ECCN, Incoterms) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Effective written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with ERP systems Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing, deadline-driven environment
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
Pay Range:
$58,000 - $70,000 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate. Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (6) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR No experience required in lieu of Masters Degree.
