This role requires strong documentation ownership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Key Responsibilities Support compliance with environmental regulations related to wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, air permitting, DOT, and chemical storage requirements under EPA, NJDEP, RCRA, SPCC, and TSCA frameworks. Maintain environmental records, permits, and reports, including waste manifests, chemical usage logs, wastewater logs, SDS databases, and air emissions tracking. Support
ISO 14001
2015 documentation, CAPA, corrective actions, and ongoing audit readiness. Coordinate environmental sampling, monitoring, and regulatory testing with consultants and internal teams. Track regulatory changes related to PFAS, REACH, TSCA, RoHS, and other applicable requirements. Support RBA VAP compliance activities, including evidence gathering, internal assessments, corrective actions, and audit preparation. Assist with customer-facing ESG documentation and supplier ESG screening updates. Support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits, including NJDEP, EPA, RBA, and corporate audits. Conduct routine environmental inspections and drive timely closure of findings. Participate in waste-reduction, water-use reduction, recycling, energy, and KPI reporting initiatives. Support environmental training related to HAZCOM, hazardous waste handling, spill response, and related compliance topics. Provide environmental compliance support during facility moves, expansions, process changes, and new facility projects. Minimum Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 1-3 years of experience in environmental compliance, EH&S, wastewater, or chemical operations within a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of
EPA, NJDEP, RCRA, SPCC, ISO
14001, and general environmental compliance requirements. Strong documentation, data tracking, organizational, and audit-readiness skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities under audit deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting RBA VAP audits or similar ESG/customer compliance frameworks. Experience in PCB, electroplating, or chemical-intensive manufacturing environments.
RCRA, DOT
HAZMAT, or hazardous waste handling training. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or environmental KPI dashboards. OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification. Work Environment Office and industrial manufacturing floor environment. PPE may be required in production and lab areas.
