Overview
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Gaming Commission Compliance Officer develops and administers a system for investigating and monitoring assigned projects; performs site visits and assists with developing and implementing policies and procedures. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, internation business, management safety, IT, business technology, criminal justice, political science, public administration, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree.
  • Three (3) years of related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
  • Possess or able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
