Job Description The Employment Compliance Specialist I provides foundational support for employment compliance matters under appropriate supervision. This role assists with investigations, intake activities, documentation, recordkeeping, and compliance-related projects while developing practical knowledge of employment policies, procedures, and legal requirements. The position is expected to build proficiency in fact-finding, case documentation, and risk awareness while supporting consistency and compliance across assigned matters. Employment Compliance Specialist I responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Support workplace investigations by assisting with fact-finding, document review, note-taking, summary drafting, and planning preparation. Develop investigation and compliance skills by shadowing senior team members and taking on assigned portions of matters with appropriate oversight. Assist with ADA intake, wage and hour documentation, workforce reduction analysis, and related compliance matters by gathering, organizing, and documenting information for review. Participate in internal discussions and HRBP or leadership meetings in a support capacity to help evaluate facts, process considerations, and potential compliance risks. Maintain accurate case files, records, and compliance documentation in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Contribute to compliance projects, training materials, job aids, and SharePoint resources by drafting content, incorporating feedback, and obtaining required review before distribution.
