AMERICAN CABLE CO.
is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Materials Compliance Specialist to support regulatory reporting and data management related to our wire harness and cable assemblies. This role is responsible for collecting, managing, and maintaining material compliance data across multiple regulatory platforms, including IMDS, REACH, RoHS, and other customer-specific systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with data, and able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or early-career professional looking to grow within manufacturing, quality, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Collect and manage material data from suppliers (e.g., SDS, material declarations) Enter and maintain data within systems such as:
IMDS / CDX
CRMT platforms Internal compliance databases Track and monitor submission status to ensure on-time completion Follow up with suppliers to obtain missing or incomplete data Support compliance with: REACH RoHS Prop 65 Full Material Disclosures (FMs) Assist in building and maintaining a centralized compliance database Work cross-functionally with: Quality Engineering Purchasing Support continuous improvement of compliance processes
Qualifications Required:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in: Business Supply Chain Engineering Technology Or related field (or equivalent experience) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Preferred (Not Required): Experience in manufacturing or automotive/industrial environment Exposure to: IMDS REACH / RoHS Supplier quality or compliance Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) structures Key Competencies Data accuracy and attention to detail Persistence in supplier follow-up Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving mindset Willingness to learn regulatory systems and requirements What We Offer Competitive salary within the $40K-$48K range Opportunity for career growth in compliance, quality, and engineering Hands-on training in industry regulatory systems Exposure to major global customers and compliance requirements Collaborative team environment Phila BST Additional Details How To Identify Potential Job Scams
