Agent Coordinator
Portland, Oregon - Added Sep 4th, 2026 Agent Coordinator
Our client, a leading health care company dedicated to revolutionizing the industry, is looking for an Agent Coordinator for a fully remote opportunity. In this role, you will support agent contracting and appointments, maintain agent records and systems, resolve agent inquiries, and assist with projects related to compliance, licensing, and insurance operations. You'll work cross-functionally with agents, agencies, internal teams, and state regulatory departments to ensure processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient. Pay Rate or Range:
$24-$28/hr
Location:
Fully Remote - Must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, or North Dakota
Contract Duration:
6 months Key Responsibilities for
Agent Coordinator:
Manage agent contracting, appointments, licensing, renewals, and related documentation
Maintain accurate agent records, systems, and appointment information
Process and audit agent contracts, appointment requests, licenses, and compliance documentation
Respond to agent and internal department inquiries regarding commissions, appointments, and policies
Research and resolve payment, licensing, and appointment issues
Support compliance with state insurance regulations and Department of Insurance requirements
Coordinate multiple projects, including system updates, testing, implementation, and process improvements
Develop project documentation, training materials, communications, and status reports
Partner with internal teams and system programmers to test and troubleshoot system changes
Assist with policies and procedures related to agent appointments, commissions, and bonuses
Requirements/Qualifications for
Agent Coordinator:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams
Strong data entry, organization, and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to a team
Ability to type 40-50 WPM
Knowledge of health insurance products preferred
Experience with insurance agent licensing, appointments, or regulatory requirements preferred
Must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours
Must have supported home internet service (cable, DSL, or fiber); satellite/mobile Wi-Fi is not supported
