Compliance Analyst

Pittsburgh area financial services group in need of a detail-oriented professional with experience in operational risk, compliance, internal controls, audit, or risk management. This role is responsible for supporting risk assessments, monitoring operational processes, identifying control weaknesses, assisting with compliance initiatives, and helping investigate operating incidents or process issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking, financial services, insurance, healthcare, corporate compliance, internal audit, or a regulated industry environment.

Duties to include:

• Assist with operational risk assessments and control evaluations
• Review business processes to identify potential risks, gaps, or compliance concerns
• Support incident reporting, issue tracking, and remediation efforts
• Monitor and document internal controls and operational procedures
• Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory examinations
• Analyze operational incidents and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain risk and compliance documentation, reports, and dashboards
• Partner with management and business units to improve processes and strengthen controls
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Support enterprise risk management and governance initiatives
• Prepare reports and presentations for leadership regarding risk trends and findings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field preferred
• Experience in operational risk, compliance, internal audit, controls testing, or related functions
• Knowledge of risk management principles and internal control frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus

Pay:

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
