We offer many types of coverage like General Aviation, Aerospace Manufacturers, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Space & Satellite, and much more. This hybrid role is located in Morris Plains, NJ. Our state-of-the-art office has a gym, cafeteria, and recreational activities (basketball and pickleball). You will join our Legal & Compliance department which plays a vital role in keeping our company compliant and communicating regularly within the department . This role will be responsible to File rates, forms, and rules with state regulators via SERFF and other electronic systems. Further duties & responsibilities are listed below. Create SERFF filings for admitted product rate, form, and rule regulatory filings coordinating with actuarial, underwriting, compliance and wordings departments to ensure completeness. Review SERFF filings for completeness. Maintain product forms in policy production system. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to respond to regulatory inquiries, including objections and market conduct examinations. Draft memoranda, bulletins, and other documents related to form, rate, and rule regulatory filings. Track current and prior regulatory filings for compliance reviews and audits. Research and obtain information from competitor filings. Review regulatory and legal change bulletins for applicability. Communicate with state insurance regulators via email and phone. Provide administrative support to legal and compliance attorneys and staff as needed.
Skills/Experience Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required BA or Associate in Insurance or Risk Management a plus
Required:
Minimum of 2 years working in an office environment in an administrative capacity Excellent organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented, excellent written/verbal communication skills Strong Microsoft Office Skills, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel. Preferred (but not required): Experience creating and submitting filings within the System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing (SERFF) and other state-based filing systems. 2 years prior property and casualty experience with demonstrated knowledge of insurance industry
Pay Range Anticipated Pay Range For This Role Is:
$55,000 - $70,000 This pay range represents the base annual full-time salary for this position. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to relevant experience, education, geography and skill set. All full time positions are eligible to participate in Global's profit-sharing plan program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
