Compliance Specialist

Job description: Exciting opportunity to join the Compliance Investigations Team within a growing multi-state law firm focused on consumer and commercial debt recovery activities. This role will support investigative reviews related to fraud, debt validation, and customer hardship matters, while also contributing to compliance auditing across collections and foreclosure operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct investigations related to fraud, debt validation, and customer hardship claims Review and analyze account activity, documentation, and communications to identify potential discrepancies or compliance risks Partner with compliance, legal, and operations teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements Assist performing Compliance Department Foreclosure and Collection Quality Assurance and Controls. Document investigation findings, maintain case records, and support audit readiness. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of foreclosure or collections auditing experience Collections and/or foreclosure law firm or servicer experience a plus Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Detail oriented Excellent project management skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines The ability to maintain accurate records and detail oriented JST CollectMax CaseAware, Black Knight Experience preferred
