Grants & Compliance Administrator Portland, OR | Up to $65,000 | Hybrid After Training A well-established nonprofit organization in Portland is adding a Grants & Compliance Administrator to its team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with accounting and operational teams while gaining exposure to nonprofit financial management, funding compliance, and financial analysis. Compensation & Benefits Salary up to $65,000 Hybrid schedule after training Established nonprofit organization Collaborative and mission-focused environment Opportunity for professional growth Key Responsibilities Maintain financial records and reporting for a variety of restricted and unrestricted funding sources Analyze financial activity to ensure transactions align with organizational policies and funding requirements Reconcile funding activity and research variances, discrepancies, and outstanding items Prepare financial schedules, reports, and documentation for internal and external review Assist with period-end accounting activities, including reconciliations and adjusting entries Support external audits and other compliance-related requests Contribute to improvements in accounting procedures, reporting tools, and financial processes Provide backup support across the accounting function as needed Qualifications 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Nonprofit, fund accounting, grants, contracts, or government accounting experience a plus Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent follow-through Ability to function effectively in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy Timing is everything.
