Job Description

Job Description A global electrical and semiconductor manufacturing company is seeking a strong Compliance Specialist to join their team! This individual will be responsible for supporting and managing regulatory, cybersecurity, and certification compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions and business requirements. The role partners with business, IT, legal, security, and operational teams to maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements. This is an immediate need and is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. The role is fully remote with expectations that this individual will go onsite in Wilmington, DE once a month.
Additional Details:
Compliance Program Management
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the enterprise compliance program.
  • Maintain compliance obligations inventory, risk registers, and compliance roadmaps.
  • Track regulatory changes and assess organizational impact.
  • Coordinate compliance governance meetings, reporting, and management reviews.
  • Support internal and external audits, assessments, and certification activities. SOX Compliance
  • Support SOX 404 compliance activities related to IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), and automated controls.
  • Coordinate control testing, evidence collection, deficiency tracking, and remediation activities.
  • Partner with Internal Audit, External Audit, Finance, and IT teams to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
  • Monitor control design and operating effectiveness and support continuous improvement initiatives. TISAX Compliance
  • Support TISAX assessments and certification activities across applicable business units.
  • Conduct TISAX gap assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Maintain Information Security Assessment (ISA) documentation and evidence repositories.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, HR, facilities, and security teams to implement TISAX requirements.
  • Manage customer-driven automotive security compliance requirements. CMMC Compliance
  • Support implementation and maintenance of CMMC and
NIST SP 800- 171
requirements.
  • Perform control assessments and readiness reviews against CMMC maturity requirements.
  • Coordinate System Security Plan (SSP), POA&M, and compliance documentation activities.
  • Work with technical teams to implement and monitor cybersecurity controls.
  • Support customer audits and defense industry compliance assessments. NIS2 & Regulatory Compliance
  • Assess organizational readiness against NIS2 and other regional cybersecurity regulations.
  • Support compliance with cybersecurity governance, incident reporting, and risk management requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal, security, and business stakeholders to implement regulatory obligations.
  • Monitor emerging regulatory requirements and communicate compliance impacts.
ISO 27001
& Information Security Compliance
  • Support Information Security Management System (ISMS) implementation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate risk assessments, control reviews, and management review activities.
  • Support internal audits, certification audits, and surveillance audits.
  • Maintain policies, standards, procedures, and control documentation.
  • Monitor corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Competencies

  • 5-7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, governance, information security, or regulatory compliance.
  • Experience supporting one or more frameworks including
SOX, TISAX, CMMC, ISO
27001, NIS2, or GDPR.
  • Knowledge of risk management, controls testing, audit methodologies, and compliance monitoring.
  • Professional certifications such as
CISA, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001
Lead Auditor/Implementer, or equivalent preferred.
