Commission-Based (Performance Compensation) About the Opportunity Comply Realty is expanding our Tenant Support Division and is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Tenant Support & Subsidy Resolution Specialists . We provide housing support services that help tenants remain stably housed while helping property owners resolve subsidy-related arrears, compliance issues, and eviction-risk situations. Our mission is to prevent evictions, promote long-term housing stability, and ensure residents understand and maintain their housing benefits. This role is New York City-based. Applicants must currently reside in NYC's 5 boroughs. You may work hybrid/remote, but you must have strong working knowledge of NYC housing programs and processes. You will be assigned cases—no tenant sourcing is required. What You'll Do Manage assigned rent arrears and eviction-risk cases from intake through resolution, with a strong focus on HRA One-Shot Deals Contact and engage tenants experiencing rental arrears, lease renewal needs, or subsidy compliance issues Assess eligibility, compile documentation, and support submission for HRA One-Shot Deals and related arrears assistance Apply eviction-prevention strategies and connect tenants to appropriate resources to stabilize tenancy and reduce displacement risk Drive follow-up and case progression with tenants, landlords, and relevant agencies (including HRA/HPD as applicable) to move cases to completion Support subsidy maintenance and recertification processes (e.g., Section 8, HPD, LIHTC, DHS), including document collection, follow-ups, and compliance corrections Support lease outcomes by helping coordinate and track signed leases and lease renewals when applicable Educate tenants on program responsibilities, rights, and compliance requirements Maintain detailed case notes, documentation, and outcome tracking What Success Looks Like Compensation is tied to verified successful outcomes , including: HRA One-Shot Deal approvals and disbursements Rent arrears resolved and recoupment completed Eviction risk reduced through documented resolution (e.g., arrears cured, compliance restored, tenancy stabilized) Subsidy recertifications completed/corrected and accepted (where applicable) Signed leases / lease renewals executed What We're Looking For (Must-Have) Must reside in NYC's 5 boroughs (required) Hands-on experience required: Very strong working knowledge of HRA One-Shot Deals (eligibility, documentation, submission process, and common issues/delays) Strong understanding of rent arrears resolution and recoupment workflows Strong knowledge of eviction prevention in NYC (process, resources, and practical case navigation) Strong knowledge of subsidy recertifications and ongoing compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust quickly and maintain professionalism under pressure Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through Self-motivated and comfortable working in a performance-based compensation structure

Compensation:

This position is commission-based. Earnings are tied to verified successful outcomes (including arrears resolutions, eviction-prevention outcomes, recertification completions, and signed leases/renewals). Full compensation details are provided during the interview process.
