$16.00/hourJob Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented CTPAT Compliance Specialist to support compliance, auditing, risk assessment, and supply chain security initiatives. This role will be responsible for ensuring that operations comply with internal policies, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting audits, performing on-site security inspections, reviewing compliance documentation, identifying risks, and supporting compliance training and improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external audits to evaluate compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and security requirements. Develop audit plans, schedules, and documentation for CTPAT assessments. Conduct on-site inspections of facilities, containers, conveyances, and other operational areas to verify required security measures. Review documentation related to procedural security, information technology systems, personnel screening, and supply chain processes. Analyze operational procedures, records, and documentation to identify compliance gaps and potential risks. Identify, assess, and document compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management. Monitor regulatory and industry changes and assist with implementing updated compliance requirements. Develop, maintain, and improve compliance programs, procedures, and internal control systems. Support employee training and awareness initiatives related to CTPAT, security, compliance, and best practices. Partner with internal departments to address audit findings and maintain ongoing compliance. Maintain accurate records and documentation required for compliance reviews and assessments. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain security and regulatory compliance.Qualifications:
Previous experience in CTPAT, compliance, auditing, trade compliance, supply chain security, or a related field. Experience conducting audits, assessments, or compliance inspections. Knowledge of CTPAT requirements and supply chain security practices. Strong understanding of compliance documentation, internal controls, and risk assessment. Ability to conduct physical inspections and identify potential security or compliance gaps. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to management. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance activities simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting CTPAT validation or certification activities. Experience in customs, import/export, logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain environments. Experience developing compliance procedures, training materials, or internal control programs. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to international trade and supply chain security.Work Environment:
Combination of office-based compliance work and on-site inspections. May require travel between facilities or operational locations. Ability to conduct physical inspections of facilities, containers, and conveyances as required (TB-ADT) #IND1Pay:
