Job Description

Trade Compliance Specialist manages product classification, import/export compliance, ERP compliance data, and regulatory support for new product introductions and engineering changes. Job Requirements 2-5+ years of hands-on trade compliance or import/export experience Direct ownership of HTS and ECCN product classification Working knowledge of EAR Familiarity with ITAR requirements Experience with REACH and RoHS regulations, including material compliance concepts and restriction requirements Experience maintaining compliance data in an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms Experience supporting new product introductions or engineering changes Preferred Skills Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams Experience maintaining classification systems and compliance records Experience supporting continuous improvement in trade compliance processes Experience expanding compliance support into environmental compliance areas Job Responsibilities Classify products using HTS and ECCN codes Support global trade compliance activities Ensure compliance with U.S. and international import/export regulations Maintain accurate compliance data in ERP and classification systems Support new product introductions and engineering changes from a trade compliance perspective Work with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to support compliant movement of goods Help mitigate regulatory risk through accurate classification and compliance data management Support continuous improvement of trade compliance processes Assist with REACH and RoHS compliance support as needed
