Within our organization, Detention & Demurrage Analysts are responsible for reviewing and analyzing detention and demurrage invoice disputes and adjustment requests. The ideal candidate will keep up to date and attain a thorough understanding of regulatory and company policies and strive for business process improvements. Strong analytical research, problem solving, verbal and written communication, and MS Office skills are desirable. Analysts will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments in the company to resolve disputes and gain knowledge of ocean supply chain management.

Manage and approve detention and demurrage adjustment requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Review and assist customer detention and demurrage invoice enquiries and disputes. Identify and address any detention and demurrage exceptions, verifying that correct tariff set up is in place and corrective action applied. Monitor detention and demurrage unbilled charge status for timely issuance of detention and demurrage invoices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum 2 years of relevant working experience OR No degree and a minimum 6 years' experience of relevant working experience MS Office and MS Excel Verbal/Written communication skills All employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
