NonexemptPOSITION SUMMARY
Primary responsibilities involve recording, creating, and maintaining loan paperwork. Responsible for assisting and supporting lending staff in their day to day operations.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Customer service 2. Prepare and type loan applications, early disclosures, closing documents, legal documents, letters, forms, government notices, and checks, verifying the accuracy and completeness of each document. 3. Funding and processing of in-house and secondary market loans, consumer and/or commercial loans. 4. Act as a liaison between borrower, Chief Credit Officer, COO and Loan Officers. 5. Work with Loan Team to meet customer needs, deadlines and expectations. 6. Establish, maintain, and update files, databases, records and/or other documents for the Fiserv core system and internal reports. 7. Assure that all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies. 8. Ensure accuracy of all documentation. 9. Maintain regulatory compliance data. 10. Working closely with insurance agents, handling the administrative duties regarding insurance policy renewals. 11. Timely payments for insurance from escrow accounts 12. Responsible for safeguarding sensitive customer information from cyber and other threats by following the Acceptable Use Policy and Code of Conduct/Ethics Policy. 13. Responsible for upholding the security and confidentiality of nonpublic personal information that is obtained from customers by following the Banks Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) Policy.SECONDARY DUTIES
1. Make recommendations for procedural changes to increase efficiency. 2. Process payoff requests. 3. Working knowledge of job applicable regulations and timely completion of required compliance training as assigned by the bank. 4. Prepare wiring documents for wiring closing funds. 5. ROLE QUALIFICATIONS
Education High school graduate or equivalent Experience- Previous loan processing experience Other Skills & Abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Sets strong ethical standards with integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness in all professional relationships
- Competence with computers and 10-key calculator
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work.
