Job Description

Company Summary A leading private credit investment platform focused on providing flexible, creative financing solutions to middle-market companies across North America. The firm partners with sponsors and management teams to support growth, acquisitions, and recapitalizations through tailored debt investments across the capital structure. With a disciplined approach to underwriting and a focus on downside protection, the platform has built a strong track record of deploying capital across market cycles while generating attractive risk-adjusted returns. The team operates in a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to senior leadership and deal flow. Responsibilities Associates will play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing investments across a range of private credit strategies, including direct lending, structured credit, and opportunistic situations.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including modeling (LBO, cash flow, and credit analysis) to assess investment opportunities Support deal execution from initial screening through closing, including due diligence and structuring Evaluate borrower performance, industry dynamics, and key risks to inform underwriting decisions Assist in structuring transactions across the capital stack, including senior secured, unitranche, and subordinated debt Monitor portfolio companies, including reviewing financial performance, covenant compliance, and key developments Prepare investment memos and materials for internal investment committees Work closely with senior team members, sponsors, management teams, and third-party advisors Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in investment banking (leveraged finance, M&A), private credit, or private equity Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set Experience with credit analysis and/or debt structuring preferred Solid understanding of capital structure, leverage, and risk/return dynamics High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Team-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to take on responsibility
