Compensation:
$62,500-65,000/year + Bonus
JOB DESCRIPTION
Vaco is partnering with a growing manufacturing client in LaGrange, GA seeking a Credit Analyst to join their team. The Credit Analyst is responsible for assessing customer creditworthiness, managing credit limits, and overseeing accounts receivable and collections for an assigned region. This role analyzes financial information, monitors credit risk, supports order release decisions, and ensures compliance with company credit policies. The position partners closely with sales, customer service, and operations to resolve credit issues, protect company assets, and maintain strong customer relationships. Key Responsibilities Evaluate customer financials, credit applications, and documentation to determine creditworthiness Set and manage credit limits within authority levels Monitor account risk, aging, and delinquency; perform collection activities Support order release by reviewing accuracy, credit exposure, and policy compliance Resolve billing, payment, and credit discrepancies with internal teams Manage liens, bonds, and other credit security instruments; ensure legal compliance Maintain accurate credit records and provide reporting as needed Skills & Experience - Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting preferred 3+ years of credit and collections experience (REQUIRED) Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas); JD Edwards experience preferred Knowledge of lien laws and credit risk mitigation tools a plus Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
