Duties Conduct comprehensive credit analysis by evaluating financial statements, cash flow reports, and credit histories to determine borrower risk levels. Develop and implement robust underwriting policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Negotiate credit terms with clients, balancing risk mitigation with business growth objectives. Perform detailed risk analysis using quantitative research, financial modeling, and data collection techniques to forecast potential defaults or delinquencies. Oversee loan origination processes, ensuring accurate loan processing and adherence to compliance standards. Monitor existing credit portfolios through portfolio management strategies, identifying early warning signs of potential issues such as fraud or deteriorating financial health. Prepare detailed financial reports that include insights on credit performance, risk assessments, and forecasting trends for senior management review. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, banking partners, and legal advisors to optimize credit operations and ensure regulatory compliance. Experience Proven experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or related financial services roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, loan processing, and portfolio management within banking or lending environments. Familiarity with financial software tools used for data collection, quantitative analysis, and reporting is essential. Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles, mortgage servicing practices, and fraud prevention techniques. Experience in tax analysis or quantitative research is a plus to enhance decision-making accuracy. Excellent mathematical skills combined with a solid foundation in financial analysis, forecasting, and technical accounting practices. Ability to interpret complex financial data quickly and accurately while maintaining high attention to detail in all reports and documentation.
