Job Description:
Koch Air, LLC has been focused on the distribution of quality Carrier residential and commercial products since 1936, and is among the oldest and largest Carrier distributors. Today, Koch Air, has fifteen branch locations, 40 delivery vehicles, and more than 350,000 square feet of equipment and parts warehousing throughout the Midwest. Koch Air is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our Team! Our Credit Analysts extend credit, collect on past due accounts, and maintain customer relationships.
Responsibilities include:
Research and evaluate potential customers' credit worthiness, including review of trade credit data, to determine if eligible for open credit line in accordance with company policies. Manage assigned receivables portfolio, including collections on past due balances, negotiating payment arrangements, investigating disputes, and reconciling discrepancies. Evaluate commercial job information sheets and investigate lien rights to assess risk for commercial projects. Monitor lien and bond claim rights on commercial projects. Review account balances and payment history to determine whether orders on credit hold can be processed. Handle customer account issues, questions, or complaints in a professional and timely manner. Set-up customer accounts in the ERP system and maintain electronic customer files. Communicate delinquent account issues with territory managers and management to create an action plan on how to resolve aging while maintaining sales. Participate in local credit industry groups. Potential for sporadic travel to branches or customer visits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field preferred. Three years of credit, accounting, collections, customer service, or equivalent experience. Proficiency using a PC.
